The job:

We are working to set an industry standard for finance education. A senior IIM alumni startup, we offer India's largest range of e-learning and certifications in Banking & Financial Services (BFS). We reached total (capex+opex) profitabality in just under 20 months. We have marquee relationships: co-branding with the NSE for 3 certifications and a unique, first-time Content Partnership with Infosys’ Finacle – the core banking platform used by over 140 banks across 73 countries.

Business Development is key: it includes B2C and B2B, both online and offline.

You will be in charge of B2C Sales. You will generate sales by selling our courses and other value added services by identifying suitable channels/partners to reach out to. You will figure out cost-effective and smart ways to reach out to the large retail target audience (Estimated market size of USD 1 billion).

You’ll also constantly research the market to figure out business opportunities. Add to that a young startup atmosphere, where you will also experience a range of activities - working on new products, retail events, capital raising,...all based out of the beautiful environs of Mysore.

Desired Skills & Experience

Who you are:

A premier (top 20 only) B-school alumnus/non MBA with:

- 3-5 years of solid work experience in B2C Sales and Business Development with a proven track record of meeting targets

- 1 year or more of work experience in BFS (would be nice to have but not necessary)

- A keen interest in education

- A willingness to work hard – we mean, really hard!

- An understanding of the start-up mentality and a passion to work with such a set-up.

- Knowledge of social media and other internet marketing channels is essential

- Retail Sales/Business Development experience in the following industries would be an advantage: FMCG, Education, e-Commerce

- You're intelligent, solid, and dependable.

- You’re driven, but the means matter.

- You’re grounded, sincere and have a sense of humour.

- The big car and the fancy designation matter. But you’re willing to work and wait for them.
