Sr. Manager/ AVP - Legal & Compliance
Qualification : Graduate/Post graduate in Law from a reputed Institute or University.
Total Years of Experience : Min 8 years in corporates
Industry : IT Industry experience is a must (at least for 4 years)
Job Description
- Drafting, vetting and negotiating contracts viz., master services agreements, consultancy agreements, vednr contracts, licensing agreements, alliance agreements, partnership and subcontract agreements, Annual Maintenance contracts etc.,
- Drafting legal documents, notices, letters, agreements, contracts, MOU, LOI, NDAs, Internal guidelines, policies, etc.,
- Advise internal clients on various business and operational requirements
- Establishing robust compliance reporting systems and conducting compliance review programs with internal & external clients to identify compliance gaps. Planning and setting up controls to bridge compliance gaps and mitigate regulatory and other risks.
- Support head of the department in all legal & compliance matters for ensuring that all the Legal & Compliance processes of the organization are successfully implemented. Good drafting skills
General
- Maintain high standard work practices and ensure integrity, respect and confidentiality
- Develop/Advise best business practices
- Initiate and develop effective business relationships with key internal stakeholders i.e advise Business Line Heads, Corporate Support functions etc.,
Skills/ Soft Skills
- Dealing with Complexity, Requirements Analysis, Developing Standards, Employment Law, Legal Compliance, Client Relationships, Research Skills, Reporting Research Results, Building Relationships, Coordination and
Audit
- Familiarity with Investment Banking operational processes.
- Regulatory & Employment laws compliance experience/ interface required
