We are Call Concepts, a leading Recruitment Firm based in Kolkata and having branches across India.

We have an urgent requirement for the post of "Sr HRIS Analyst"

Positon Description:

Position: Sr HRIS Analyst

Department : Human Resources

Type of Opening : Full Time

Shift : Day

Purpose of Department:

- Responsible for providing functional support on Group HR systems across the global. Custodian of Emergency IDs and responsible for tracking its usage. Responsible for maintaining and auditing GHRS Security. Point of escalation for RSTs where an HR or CRM issue requires deeper analysis

Job Description:

Impact on the Business/Function

- Point of escalation for all Regional Support teams for complex GHRS issues that require deeper analysis

- Close interaction with Project Managers due to the team’s in project deployment and roll-outs

- Liaison with the GPST Level 2 and Technical teams based out of GLT for issues that require technical analysis and code fixes

- Perform audit tasks to ensure data integrity, prevent unauthorized access and verify user authenticity

- Provide subject matter expertize and training to RSTs when needed

- Ensuring the integrity of the GHRS database through audits, collaborating with HR subject matter experts, process specialists, and PeopleSoft site coordinators to ensure the effective use of the system and the accuracy of the data stored in the PeopleSoft database.

Customers / Stakeholders

- Key stakeholders are regional support teams. Ensure knowledge transfer on regular basis to keep the RST knowledge base updated

- Timely response to the CRM Helpdesk cases raised by RSTs. Provide feedback and resolution for cases raised by RSTs

- Ensure timely support for project rollouts and new functionality by working closely with the project managers

Leadership & Teamwork

- Tight coordination with GPST L2 for cases escalated for technical analysis and fixes

- Share knowledge with all RST teams with a view to reduce the number of cases that get escalated to GST over time

- Operational Effectiveness & Control

- Identify process improvement opportunities with a view to improve efficiency, reduce manual workarounds, reduce risk

- Keep knowledge base and SOPs updated with timely reviews

- Regular security audits to ensure unused IDs are locked out, validate Global access list with RSTs, lock out IDs with simple passwords

- Ensure completion of mandatory training required for this role

Major Challenges

- In-depth knowledge on every aspect of GHRS is a must along with knowledge on HSBC specific processes and data models. Constant up-skilling is required to keep the team abreast with all new functionality and regional rollouts

Role Context

- Forms a part of Global Support Team, responsible for providing functional support to the RSTs and projects in the use of GHRS globally. GST is also responsible to maintain and track the GHRS emergency access that is used for emergency analysis and fixes. In addition, there are a number of BAU tasks such as updating exchange rate, running audit reports for security, validate global access list periodically. Team is expected to work in a 16X5 shift.

Management of Risk

- The jobholder will also continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.

- This will be achieved by ensuring all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring.

- Also by addressing any areas of concern in conjunction with line management and/or the appropriate department.

Observation of Internal Controls

- The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.

- The jobholder will implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.

- This will be achieved by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures and by liaising with Compliance department about new business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture and optimising relations with regulators.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

- Five years experience in a Human Resources capacity in PeopleSoft implmentation, techno functional GHRS support or operations support role.

- Proven written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong focus on the customer and continuous improvement.

- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.

- Analytical and numerate.

Must be proficient and knowledgeable with Excel and Word with a good understanding of Peoplesoft and query.
