Senior Manager HR - dealing with unions only from top 10 business schools/ Exp 6-10 years/ Location - Bhubhaneswar

Designation:Manager / Sr. Manager – HR

Reports To: Region HR Head

Span of Control: Chattisgarh & Orissa

Work Location: Bhubaneshwar

Role Description:

- Ensure a high level of understanding and compliance with existing and proposed legislation for HR and company policy at regional levels (Mainly in Orissa and Jharkhand)

- Ensure along with the Training personnel that the Training and Development activity is carried out at individual and group level in region

- Manage the process of all new employee contracts within the region for both contractual and regular positions for sites and office employees

- Interact with clients and ensure full compliance and utilisation of resources

- Establish a strategic relationship with senior management, operations and support departments to ensure effective management of HR advice and support in recruitment, training, performance management and career & succession planning (employee relations, labour laws, compliances, maintaining harmony at sites in the region)

- Liase with the Government authorities on compliances and labour issues

- Report to Regional Office on a monthly basis or as instructed

- Ensure that the operations team in the region are provided with IR advice as and when required

Experience:

- Should have experience in dealing with unions in eastern India (mainly in Orissa and Jharkhand) and should be well versed with the labour dynamics of the region.

- Should have good network with relevant professionals and authorities in the region.
