Senior Global Replenishment Planner (Supply Chain / Logistic)

This position would be responsible to handle a several activities in supply chain that includes planning & procurement of products, monitoring and tracking shipments, facilitate & support production and warehousing function to handling customer orders. This function is responsible for a more broader process and regions than supply chain coordinators who do similar tasks more on a day to day basis.

Job description

The broad responsibilities would be

- Overall responsible & own part of planning / supply coordination process including mapping processes.

- Responsible for S&OP, Demand planning and Supply planning.

- Assist in Inventory management at the warehouses and supply plants.

- Shipment monitoring of the Finished / Intermediate goods.

- Manage the masters / Key Parameters in the SAP system so as to ensure right products delivered at right time.

- Co ordinate all the activities related to production & warehousing.

- Order handling - Inbound and Outbound deliveries & shipments to customers.

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Mapping the planning processes, identification of bottlenecks and optimization.

- Documentation and reporting of the activities handled.

- Responsible for management of intercompany /Warehouse goods movement.

- Ensure that there is an uninterrupted supply of goods for worldwide operations and escalate matters if there is any threat.

- Ensure that stocks are available in the secondary warehouses, supply plants to ensure continuous supply to the customers.

- Identify and set right the reasons for the demand and supply variability.

- Responsible for accuracy of master data settings in SAP.

- Analyse and support decision making on product supply chain issues.

- Support business in resolving sales & customer service needs.

- Facilitation with finance to set up transfer prices .

- Facilitate & support production at contract manufacturing sites and warehouses.

- Responsible for sales order fulfilment, shipping coordination, data maintenance in SAP/CRM, and ensuring on time delivery to customers, while supporting customers & sales.

- Responsible for receiving sales orders in SAP and intercompany purchase orders, check stock availability,create deliveries, assign batch in SAP, coordinate & consolidate shipment.

- Timely issue customer invoice base on SAP billing and follow up order status, shipment, billing, and documentation (COA,shipping label, packing lists etc). ensuring customers receive right product, right document and right time.

Skills& Competency Required

- Relevant academic background or experience

- Customer and results oriented with take charge attitude

- Able to handle complexity and troubleshooting skill

- Strong self-motivation, and able to work under pressure

- Strong leadership and motivation skill to work cross functions and levels

- Good insight and willingness to try new ideas and consider new approaches

- Good tolerance and capability for multiple-tasks.

- Working knowledge with SAP R/3 and APO

- Excellent English skill on both written and oral

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.

Reporting Lines

- The position holder reports to the Functional lead within the Process Optimization Center.

Preferred Education

- Master / Bachelor degree in Science preferably with a Post graduate Dip in Supply Chain Management/ Materials Management/OR allied fields.

Experience

- 5-6 years in handling multiple Planning and other supply chain activities in MNC's with experience of interacting with Europe and US counterparts.
