Designation: Senior Executive Demand Planning

Location: Mumbai

Key roles & Responsibilities:

1. Generate depot & SKU level statistical forecast & deploy the FG accordingly.

2. Manage the monthly consensus forecasting process based on input from stakeholders

3. Revise forecasts and recommend changes on a monthly basis based on trends, new product introductions, and revised sales plans

4. Develop statistical forecast models in NGF in coordination with Asia Pacific office.

5. Advise Sales, Marketing teams on significant variances between forecasts and actual by geography and category.

6. Participate in the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings by presenting the forecast analytics and incorporate supply planner inputs.

7. Maintain proactive communication with production teams, including providing final monthly forecast, and alerts of material forecast changes in the month in a timely manner

8. Manage new product rollout through forecasting and interfacing with marketing, sales and supply chain

9. Coordinate with Marketing for new product launches.

10. Process design & optimization

Key Performance Indicators

1. LIFR (Line Item Filled Rate) & MAPE (Forecast accuracy: by SKU class ).

2. Timeliness of activities to ensure smooth supply planning cycle .

3. SLOB management (Slow & Obsolete Inventory Management)

4. Project management within stipulated timelines

Key Stakeholders:

1. Sales team

2. Logistics team

3. Production team

4. Finance team

Key Requirements:

1. Must have 1-3 years of relevant experience, MBA from premier B school.

2. Must demonstrate analytical abilities, problem solving skills and have expert command over working in MS Excel, knowledge of SAP.

3. Actively support team and work well in a team environment. Should be a self-starter.

4. Proactive in seeking guidance and willing to contribute wherever and whenever asked.

5. Proficient in communication, both written and oral. Must be able to draft presentations and reports as required
