Functional Responsibility / Domain Related :
- Provide support to a global Credit Analyst for monitoring and tracking performance of a portfolio of credits / transactions
- Track and understand industry dynamics and regulatory trends
- Track operational performance on regular basis, which include:
a) evaluating country and macroeconomic risk
b) competitive position
c) strategy / execution / management
d) profitability / peer comparisons
- Track financial performance on regular basis, which include :
a) accounting
b) financial governance and policies
c) analysis of financial ratios and trends
d) liquidity / short-term factors
- Prepare financial models – historical and projections, conducting peer comparisons
- Respond to credit events
- Prepare internal credit research reports and notes
- Prepare publishable credit reports
- Process Adherence
- Focus on review / QC, adding analytical inputs, when required and signing off on tasks
- Create and maintain base level training, process manuals & documentation to ensure smooth execution of tasks
- Adopt the defined processes in day to day execution of assignments
- Identify process improvement avenues and identify value added work
- Client Management / Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with international clients
- Independently handle client communication and take the lead on conference calls
- Set expectations with clients regarding scope of work, timelines, etc. for routine tasks
- People Development
- Provide analytical mentoring to junior members of the team
- Implement team level initiatives
Two years full-time MBA (Finance) or equivalent OR CA
