Sr Counsel - Administration & Governance

UK Shifts

Responsibilities include:

- Monitoring corporate governance practices for the Company in its India and Philippines locations;

- Providing legal counsel to the Human Resources, Finance, Facilities and Vendor Management teams as needed;

- Generally assisting with labor law matters, including employee benefits, wage and hour law compliance, employment litigation etc.;

- Serving as legal contact for all matters pertaining to State and Country laws and regulations applicable to the business and determine optimal compliance program to ensure compliance with such regulations;

- Providing hands-on negotiation, drafting and administration of contracts, including business process outsourcing, finance and commercial contracts; and

- Managing relationships with outside legal counsel and other vendors located in India and the Philippines.

Qualifications:

- An L.L.B./L.L.M. from an accredited law school and MBA

- A minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience within an international company or a leading law firm involving regular interaction with senior level executives

- A strong understanding of corporate governance issues; Company Secretary experience preferred.

- Willingness to travel both within India and internationally

- International experience a plus
