We have an urgent opening in the Financial Effectiveness Practice- Pune team with one of the Big4 CA consulting firms.

Job Location: Pune

Education: Essential : CA and/or MBA (with Finance specialization) from Tier 1/ Tier 2 Colleges

Desirable : ICWA

Post Qualification Experience: 4 to 7 years

Overview of Area of Work:

The Finance Effectiveness Practice provides consulting services/solutions for a CFO's office across varied industries.

Some of these include -

- Enterprise performance management - Strategy to execution for setting up enterprise performance measurement framework and driving efficiencies in Budgeting and Forecasting, Business Analysis, product pricing and costing.

- Finance process Re-engineering - Some of the solutions include transaction efficiencies for Customer Billing processes, credit management, account payable/receivable, Financial Reporting

- Shared Services/ outsourcing advisory - assess options for improving Finance Costs and effectiveness through outsourcing or setting up captive centers

Role Description: Senior Consultant

1. Assist consulting teams over long and short term assignments/ projects - run qualitative and quantitative analysis, identify appropriate business solutions and implement the same for clients

2. Work with client as per the approach designed, guide the Client Company & client teams on projects, ensure adherence to the time lines and deliver agreed results .

3. Assist the team with primary and secondary research to enable execution of assignment in hand.

4. Develop in-depth knowledge of the Client Company products and support knowledge management on creating / assimilating new methodologies, tools and techniques, as well as converting experiences on projects into case studies for the organization

5. Build and continuously update Domain Knowledge in pre-identified area

In Addition to the above a Senior Consultant is expected to

- Address conflicting points of view in the teams they work with, help senior managers align stakeholders within the firm and in the clients

- Building strong client relationships ,and help client personnel identify specific problems and chalk out solutions

- Participate in Business Development activities of the firm; research on potential clients and identify value proposition, proposal making

Job Requirements

- Strong verbal, written and inter-personal skills and ability to interact with senior level stakeholders

- Knowledge of Six Sigma is desirable and a certification will be a bonus

- Should be presentable, confident in approach and should be able to deal with people across the hierarchy. Should be assertive and in situations of influencing.

- Should be extremely conversant with Excel & PPT. A high level of Excel & Analytical skills are a must. Should be able to work across spreadsheets on analytics using macros in excel with key functions. Should be able to make professional presentations in PPT

- Needs to have strong problem solving skills, excellent work ethics, and the ability to learn new tools and techniques and apply them to client problems across industries.

- Needs to have hands on experience and a proven track record for pursuit of excellence and a strong ability to cope with pressure

- Should be willing to travel extensively – about 50% of time, including international
