Sr Chartered Accountant - US GAAP

The candidate needs to be an experienced Chartered Accountant having 3-6 years of experience with multinational companies and has working knowledge of Revenue Recognition and Deferred Revenue Processes, US GAAP accounting, Intercompany transactions that can assist in daily and project based accounting, finance operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Revenue Recognition Process

- Preparation of Revenue recognition schedule as per US GAAP

- Maintain & Compile MIS reports pertaining to revenue required for 10Q filing

- Review of Revenue at month end, suggest necessary correction entries

Deferred Revenue Process

- Maintaining & Reviewing Deferred Revenue Schedule as per US GAAP

- Compile MIS reports pertaining to Deferred revenue required for 10Q filing

Assistance in Monthly Closure of books of accounts

- Preparation of Accrual Schedule and Accrual entries on each month close

- Preparation of Capitalized Software schedule and monthly Depreciation entries

- Preparation of Prepaid account/Deferred Rent schedule and monthly amortization entries

- Entering month close/ adjustment journals in books of accounts

- Preparing Balance sheet reconciliations for various Balance sheet accounts

- Review Profit and Loss account and Balance Sheet account and make adjustment/ reclass entries

Bank Reconciliation on a monthly basis for US parent

- Assistance in Sales Tax Filing for US parent

- Prepare various MIS reports for Senior Management

- Support yearly Financial Audits

- Perform various financial and accounting analysis

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be a CA

- 3+ years of experience in transnational accounting role (Post articleship experience).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

- Experience working with ERP Packages

- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and coordination skills.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Ability to handle a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility and ability to multi-task are a must

- Successful candidates will be self-starters, able to excel with minimal supervision.
