Senior Business Intelligence Consultant - Bangalore

Candidate profile:

- Bachelor of Engineering preferably with MBA or equivalent

- IT experience of 10- 12 years or more

- Have 5 years of relevant experience in designing, developing and implementing solutions in Business Intelligence

- Strong Analytical skills inclusive of data mining, data modelling, extractions, profiling

- Experience of implementing BI solutions in Airline/ Hospitality Industry is a must

- Experience in Pre-sales support, solutioning

- Have experience with one or more Business Intelligence solutions of IBM (Cognos, Applix/TM1, Datastage), Microsoft, Microstrategy, Open-Source (Jedox, Pentaho, BIRT, etc.), Oracle (Siebel Analytics, Hyperion, Oracle BI), SAP (SAP BW, Business Objects)

- Knowledge on Performance tuning

- Assertive and communicative to be capable to work and network at multiple levels within organisations

- Result oriented and customer focussed

- Team player, flexible, creative, and eager to learn.

- Flexible in location and willingness to travel -

- US Visa ready preferably

- Airline domain experience preferably

Role and Responsibility:

- Definition of strategies and roadmaps to implement Business Intelligence solutions

- User requirements gathering, design, modelling & implementation of leading Business Intelligence solutions

- Designing and implementing technical and operational architectures

- Data modelling and data architecture design / implementation

- ETL, data integration, data quality and data conversion design / implementation
