Position Summary:

Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager to support the global sourcing team of a global PE Client in developing and maintaining cost and spending programs across their portfolio companies.

Responsibilities:

a. Project Management: Assist in the roll-out and implementation of current Leveraged Spend programs across the portfolio by facilitating implementation calls, coordinating status update calls, tracking timelines, and following-up with stakeholders regarding deliverables.

b. Market Research: Conduct market research on products, services, companies, industries, and countries. Present market research findings via PowerPoint presentations.

c. Spend/Savings Analysis: Conduct data analysis using excel and other tools to understand a company’s spend in a particular category and show potential savings.

d. Reporting: Assist with ongoing reporting requests for portfolio companies, vendors, and Leveraged Spend categories.

KEY SKILLS

- Minimum of two years experience, ideally in a consulting role (e.g, procurement, operations, etc.).

- Project management experience with company-wide initiatives. Work experience should demonstrate ability to handle multiple projects at once.

- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large volumes of data;

- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills

- Responsible for establishing direct contact/communication with portfolio companies

- Support the global sourcing team in developing procurement plan and strategy

- Provide strong analytics support

- Manage spending program projects

- Develop presentation and reports

- Advanced Microsoft Access skills, Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, etc.)

- Experience in developing and executing a sourcing or procurement plan and strategy across multiple companies, business units or locations

- Experience working with suppliers to monitor compliance, measure effectiveness and improve performance, as needed

- Required consulting or project management experience:

- Sourcing and procurement

- Spend/Data Analysis

- Contract Analysis

- Project management skills

Soft skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Must be able to provide strong professional references

- Ability to multitask and work well with many groups across the firm.

Education :

- MBA with an engineering background

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience preferably as a project manager

- Team player and individual contributor
