As a Senior Analyst, the individual will be responsible for delivering and designing of monthly MIS reporting, data analysis, and support projects as a part of the Corporate and Investment Bank CFO Support group – Specifically CIB Central P&A Group

Key Responsibilities:

- Creation & delivery of a rich yet user friendly reports for the users to mine meaningful information

- Responsible for use of Cognos Platform and design of dashboards and analytics tools to enable the business users and senior management to derive information and / or creatively analyze data

- Hands on knowledge of Access and Excel for automation and analytics

- Ensure existing data/information assets are identified, stewarded and leveraged across various groups within the central team

- Perform end to end review of all deliverables sent by the team to different stakeholders

- Extraction and mining of data from the source MIS systems

- Ability to understand the changing business needs and redesign MIS and analysis around the same

- Support ad hoc requests from the business and senior management

- Support quarterly business reviews and any analysis required for senior management

- Proactive involvement in the business and development of infrastructure required to support reporting and analysis

- Analyze, communicate and deliver on high quality MIS in stringent timelines

- Liaison with the P&A teams and other support groups

- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Qualification:

- Tenured MBA's or graduates with Bachelor’s degree in engineering

- 3+ years of relevant experience

Knowledge and Skills:

- Good knowledge of technology, finance, accounting and valuation concepts

- Ability to understand the user needs & translate it into a technical implementation plan

- Must have experience in Cognos report building

- Knowledgeable in aspects of designing and constructing reports and dashboards

- Advance knowledge of Excel and Access and good knowledge in VBA macros

- Exposure to SQL Server, Master Data Management tools (MDM, DRM), IBM Executive Viewer, Hyperion Essbase, IBM TM1 platform would be an added advantage

- Results orientated without compromising control

- Ability to absorb and synthesize volumes of data and draw conclusions

- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

- Good organizational skills & planning ability

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently

- Thrives on challenges in a fluid working environment

- Eye for detail and presentation
