Sr Analyst - IT - Advisory - IIT/NIT

Client: US based Advisory services Firm

Role: Senior analyst, IT software and services

Experience:- 2-4 years

Location:- Bangalore

Summary: A high visibility role at a fast growing unit within the largest outsourcing advisory firm in the world. The position offers an opportunity to understand the complex world of IT services in depth, and also the research and consulting business.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Build models that help senior IT buyers assess the relative strengths of major IT service providers

- Manage briefings by senior executive at major service provider companies.

- Manage service provider clients

- Help create new research products and processes

- Monitor the Application Development and Maintenance and infrastructure services markets, and issues pertaining to these markets (such as cloud, SaaS, immigration reforms), and work towards becoming the resident expert on these domains

Education and Specifications:

- Education level: tier I-II engineering school (IITs, NITs); leading MBA school

- Work experience: Between 2 and 5 years at research and consulting firms, and a minimum of two years working on IT software and/or services-related problems

- Team management: None

- Client / internal stakeholder management: Minimum 1 year of exposure to managing clients and resolving client queries
