Sporjo - Head - Licensing & Merchandizing (4-8 yrs)
A leading sports company is looking for a for Head - Licensing & Merchandizing who will identify, solicit, negotiate and secure new business opportunities and put together strong & successful licensing and merchandising programs for Brands in line with a long-term Strategy based out of Mumbai.
As a Head - Licensing & Merchandizing, you will work on:
Business Development Accountabilities:
- Developing a plan for licensing & merchandising.
- Pitching secure Licensing Representation Rights for Global & Indian Sports & Lifestyle Brands.
- Securing new licensing deals and negotiate renewals.
- Researching and work on new category opportunities and new clients.
- Closely with the Finance Team on quarterly & annual forecasting.
- Delivering Revenue Targets.
- Developing a short term, medium term & long-term strategic plan for Licensing & Merchandising vertical.
- Developing a Business Plan for the Management/ Commercial Teams.
- Creating implementing & executing new plans for the Business and Strategic Plan for the Brands/ Licensing Vertical.
- Product/ category launch plan - including pricing & marketing plan (Including Digital Marketing Plan).
- Providing inputs (such as Industry Trends, Market Size, New Developments, etc.) to the Management for any internal/ external document.
To apply, you need to:
- Have a detailed understanding about Retail Industry in India.
- Have an experience in Managing Internal & External Stakeholders.
- Have minimum 4 years of experience in Retail in India (Preferably in Apparel or Lifestyle Retail in Strategy Function), or in Sports Domain.
- Have prior experience in Licensing & Merchandising function will be a plus.
