Spinnaker - Senior Consultant - Analytics

Spinnaker Analytics, a predictive analytics and artificial intelligence company is looking to fill a full-time Senior Consultant position.

- The ideal candidate will possess both experience in and passion for research, quantitative analysis and generating insights to solve business problems.

- The candidate would perform research and analyze data and qualitative information to develop business insights for our clients.

- The candidate will be responsible for presentations to senior executives from global financial services firms.

- The candidate should be able to develop forecasting/predictive models and perform statistical analysis on quantitative data that will also involve extracting, collating and performing data integrity checks.

- A strong analytic disposition would be critical, along with the attitude and enthusiasm to take on unstructured and complex work the candidate may not have encountered previously.

Job Duties

- Quantitative Analysis: Compile and analyze relevant data, creatively tackle information gaps, synthesize findings into meaningful and actionable intelligence

- Develop models and perform trend analysis

- Create structured deliverables suitable for C-Level executives

- Market/Industry research

- Participate on conference calls and in-person meetings with client executives as needed

- Superior problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills

- Willing to work in a highly demanding and result-oriented team environment

- Candidates for this role should be entrepreneurial and self-starters who enjoy the challenges and rewards of working in a dynamic and changing environment

- Ability to work against tight deadlines

- Ability to work on unstructured projects somewhat independently

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, business/economics or sciences

- MBA preferred but not prerequisite

- Prior work or project/course experience in statistical modeling preferred
