Spice Route Finance - Finance Business Partner

Financial Management :

- Own the entire financial operations of the company and drive the team towards achievement of business targets. Influence day to day decisions, shaping strategy and the direction of the business

- Work with Project teams and drive financial discipline and processes

- Acts as a running source of truth for numbers - Key financial metrics and performance drivers

- Interpret data, order and assess its value and then present the findings to the relevant stakeholders concisely

- Publish financial dashboards at regular intervals to the management team

- Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams

- Tracking of sales performance against set targets and provide periodical updates to business

- Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies

- Review performance with operational teams on a monthly basis against plan and provide guidance and input on improvements.

Accounting :

- Ensure cash & fund flow is forecasted accurately and management treasury by taking cashflow decisions at the right time.

- Ensure books of accounts are maintained as per accounting standards.

- Ensuring Monthly closing process is carried out properly and annual audits are completed on time.

- Develop and implement financial and operational frameworks and controls as required by the company.

Must-haves :

- Strong ethics and ability to uphold company's values and code of conduct in all engagements - both external and internal

- Possess strong core business skills including influencing, stakeholder management and presentation skills

- Sound knowledge of financial statements and taxation principles

- MBA from top 15 institutes in India or CA/CWA and related-field experience of 3-5 years

- Should be able to seamlessly coordinate with different teams and work with them effectively to drive the business agenda

- Proactive, owns and drives initiatives to closure, and self-motivate
