Speed Engineering Solutions - Technical Leader - Project Management

Location: Pune but might have to travel Gurgaon on project basis.

Job Description : Technical Leader with heavy fabrication experience and has worked in Creo. Project Management and people management skills are required for this position.

Should be able to check the drawings created by the team before delivering.

Experience range for below positions: 5 to 8 years

Location: Pune but might have to travel Gurgaon on project basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Study of reference drawings and get familiarized quickly with the equipment.

- Preparation & self-checking of Basic and detail drawings for equipment as guided by the reporting Supervisor/Engineer.

- Develop sub assembly & assembly drawing based on based on basic engineering drawings and related data or as per the inputs from supervisor.

- Preparation of Bill of Material (BOM).

- Check and modify the drawings for manufacturing parameters as required.

- Preparation and self-checking of Onboard equipment piping.

- Secure approval from checker and submit the drawings to supervisor/Engineer.

Requirements :

- Working experience on equipment engineering for heavy machineries.

- A thorough hands-on experience on CREO and AutoCAD are must.

- Should be conversant with various National & International Standards.

- Knowledge and familiarity with welding and machining symbols.

- Knowledge and familiarity with assembly processes.

- Knowledge and familiarity with of Fits/Tolerances, Geometric Tolerances and Dimensioning.

- Able to communicate/report technical issues effectively with the reporting engineer/manager.

Preferred Industry:

- Steel EPCs / heavy design engineering consultancies from cement/metal

- Exposure to Steel Plant /Nonferrous Making Equipment will be an advantage.
