Specialist - Technology Assurance - Audit

SPECIALIST – TECHNOLOGY ASSURANCE (AUDIT)

- Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals. As a Lead Specialist, Technology Assurance, you'll take the lead as you

- Performs and may lead in the development and execution of IT operational and compliance audits, including Sarbanes Oxley 404 testing.

- Develops audit programs, performs audit procedures, completes workpaper documentation and prepares audit reports.

- Perform detailed review of other team members' work. Consults with clients to identify, analyze and evaluate business issues and identify improvement opportunities.

- Participates in assurance projects for new systems development to ensure that proper controls are included in system designs.

- Communicates business issues and recommendations to management.

- Determines the reliability and effectiveness of existing internal controls and provides control recommendations to mitigate those risks

- Oversee the assurance project execution and ensure timely completion of fieldwork

- Displays strong knowledge of audit concepts and frequently used computer systems. Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Promotes an atmosphere of continuous learning and self-development.

- Gives input on strategic direction for Assurance; may work on strategic projects led by others.

- Trains and acts as mentor to new team members.

- Builds strong relationships with IT Management, business units and external auditors

Requirements

- Four-year college degree (IT or related field preferred)

- Three to five years audit/relevant business experience

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Ability to anticipate and address questions from all levels

- Ability to plan for contingencies and develop alternatives

- Strong PC knowledge and ability to assist others in developing system skills

- Ability to recognize interrelationships and handle complexities for decision making

- Ability to analyze information and recommend conclusions for problem solving

- Ability to analyze conditions and reach independent decisions

- Ability to work independently with high level of initiative and stay current on all department processes
