Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients to get a clear view on their business, strategic objectives and hiring needs
- Devise and carry out a targeted research strategy
- Research into client's company, competitors and marketplace
- Map role criteria, define position description and document specifications
- Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels
- Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility
- Conduct confidential interviews, reference checks while shortlisting the candidates
- Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries
- Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion
- Follow up with clients and assist with the candidate's transition and onboarding process
- Complete the necessary contracts and other legal documentation as required
- Ensure invoicing is done timely and accurately
- Follow up with clients for collecting the payments for the invoices
- Network and build long-lasting client relationships
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a recruiting specialist with a track record of employee placement.
- The ability to work within a team and to coordinate team activities.
- Excellent analytical skills to examine resumes and find the best-suited candidates.
- Clear verbal skills to communicate well with candidates and managers.
- Proficient writing skills to produce reports on hiring analyses.
- Leadership abilities to delegate tasks and train new employees.
- Strong negotiation skills when discussing terms and conditions of employment.
- In-depth knowledge of hiring strategies, labor laws, and employment equity.
- The ability to evaluate recruiting software packages and to recommend those which are best suited to the company.
