Specialist - Record To Report - Chemicals

Currently we are looking for a "RTR Specialist" for a leading chemical MNC.

Job Location is Airoli Mumbai

Objective : To ensure compliance with accounting regulations, apply global financial policies, implement improvements, and provide technical accounting guidance to the defined region and business.

Responsibilities :

- Execute reliable, timely, and complete accounting tasks according to global process design and SOPs

- Provide quality assurance on balance sheet, profit & loss, and legal entity specifications

- Review monthly BS and P&L figures and variances, adjust specifications if necessary

- Prepare statutory consolidated financial statements and monthly analysis

- Ensure month-end closing deadlines are met and internal controls are adhered to

- Provide accounting technical guidance and assistance for IFRS and local GAAP

- Monitor IFRS and local GAAP differences and prepare explanations for audits and approvals

- Support business in communicating with external and internal auditors

- Responsible for international cost sharing process and execution

Skills and Competencies :

- Strong analytical skills and written/verbal communication skills

- Results-oriented with a focus on service delivery

- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Team player with a "hands-on" mentality

Education and Experience :

- High education in accounting

- 5 years of experience in operational accounting

- Good knowledge of accounting in ERP systems, preferably SAP

- Experienced in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

- Fluent in local language and English.
