Specialist - Procurement Analytics

A reputed management consulting firm having large Analytics business is looking for people with Procurement Analytics Backround.

Role:

Procurement Analytics Specialist will implement and run Procurement analytics business service for top-tier clients, working closely with the sales, solutioning & delivery teams

Role and Requirements:

Managing Analytics Service Delivery:

- Manage delivery and execution of Procurement analytics services for top tier clients in various areas:

a) driving procurement cost reduction initiatives, conducting spend analytics, contract

b) managing analytics deals for procurement (across materials and services including

c) leveraging outsourced Procure to Pay processes to build advanced analytics based

- Build and provide subject matter expertise in Sourcing & Procurement for delivery of the deals

Managing Stakeholders:

- Support lead and managers in manage relationships with client stakeholders - build client shareable material for holding discussions on analytical insights, and planning for new analytics needs

- Collaborate across multiple internal stakeholders: delivery leads, account management for service delivery, capability showcase and new business development for the deals

Professional and Academic Requirements

- MBA/Masters/Engineering degree from Top Tier Institutes

- Minimum 6-8 years of experience across Industry, Consulting or Outsourcing organizations

- Candidates with a few years of hands-on experience of Procurement in the industry preferred

- Global experience will be an advantage

- Understanding of TCO concepts, spend and cost modeling / analytics in Procurement domain

- Exposure to sourcing of Indirect categories and / or Direct categories

- Experience and understanding of sourcing and analytics tools such as Ariba, Emptoris, SAP MM/SRM will be an advantage. Additionally expertise in Excel & Access based modeling required.

- Good team handling experience of having handled a team of 5+ buyers / consultants

- Strong business acumen and financials understanding compliance analytics, category profiling and opportunity identification, supply market assessment, cost modeling & financial analysis, procurement risk analysis and supplier performance assessment commodities as applicable reporting to provide enhanced business insights to our clients
