Position: Payments Specialist
Company Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Payments Specialist to join our Payments team . As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in addressing payment-related queries, ensuring seamless execution, and maintaining exceptional customer service.
Role and Responsibilities:
The role includes:
- Be the first port of call for payment related queries and concerns
- Investigating and responding to payment queries from internal and external parties
- Monitoring of payments execution and resolving any issues
- Working with 3rd party payment providers to resolve queries
- Ensuring payments/reports are loaded on to the system correctly and timely
- Provide and maintain exceptionally high levels of customer service
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the payments and customer service teams as we continue to scale
Requirements:
1. Educational Qualification: Bachelors/PG degree in a relevant field.
2. Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a financial services customer-facing role, preferably in a B2B context.
3. Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Problem-Solving Approach:
- Proactive and creative problem-solving skills.
5. Multitasking Abilities:
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively under stressful conditions.
6. Payments System Knowledge:
- Understanding of payments systems and settlement cycles.
7. Proficiency in Tools:
- Proficient in tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, etc.
