Our client is a ranked among the world's largest petrochemicals manufacturers, working since 1976.

Designation : Specialist - Indirect Taxation

Location : Gurgaon

Qualification : CA (preferred)

Experience : 7 - 12 yrs

The following will be the responsibilities of the desired candidate :

- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payments. Maintain the tax compliance tracker to track all tax compliances on a monthly basis for all registered sites and regions

- Ensure compliance under indirect tax laws and procedures at the manufacturing facility and warehouses/regional offices across India. Ensure excise compliance at warehouses across India along with SCM by setting up audit mechanisms and monitoring follow-up actions

- Lead and co-ordinate responses to Government notices, queries and audits on indirect tax related matters

- Partner with Legal in all litigation matters related to Indirect Taxation

- Advice SCM, Manufacturing and Commercial teams on various aspects related to indirect taxation, including develops and drive process improvements and organize self-audit. Controllership over processes related to benefits under the FTP, including Advance Authorizations, EPCG Licenses etc. Work closely with Supply Chain team over the same.

- Ensure completion of all VAT/CST assessments. Drive performance of tax consultants.

- Ensure Service Tax Compliance for All entities including Reverse Charge mechanism, foreign services e

- Lead the GST implementation

- Involve and manage tax works related to ERP systems change (i.e. SAP)
