Our client is a Globally reputed MNC into the auto ancillary industry. We are hiring for Direct Tax Specialist for their corporate office in Pune. Individual Contributor role Reporting to Head of Finance Qualification: CA Experience: Post Qualification experience of minimum 6 to 12yrs Industry: Manufacturing - Mandatory Must-Have: Experience in Domestic & International taxation. Exposure in Corporate Allocation. Exposure of working with Global teams. Specific skills / Personal attributes - Expert knowledge in Direct Taxation, assessment and related processes - Expert knowledge in Transfer pricing, Permanent Establishment, assessment and related processes - Handling of all Income Tax related compliances, interactions with the Income-tax department, ensuring timely quarterly TDS return submission, responses to show cause notices, representation of the organization to Income Tax dept hearing, appeals (if any). - Ability to interact with Overseas group companies tax teams and get all relevant documentation for all the related party transactions specifically, Inter-Company cost chargebacks, Royalty, Technical Fees. - Ability to work with the other departments of the company like, Finance, HR, Purchase, IT, Sales etc. to obtain relevant information and documents required during assessments. - Knowledge of SOX and US GAAP, SAP -FICO preferred - Expert knowledge in MS Office - Good communication (spoken and written) - Proven competency in analytics, system, data management capabilities - Proactive - Ability to coordinate with other departments and exhibit good team-work - Decision Making & Problem Solving - Ability to provide leadership to the function Adaptability and flexibility Job Responsibility: - Set-up systems, process and controls for tax compliance using statutory & guidelines - Assist Finance and Accounts team during Tax Audit - Estimate and calculate Advance Tax every quarter and ensure payment of the same - Proactively get involved in all related party transactions at the inception, analyze the impact from Transfer pricing and/or permanent establishment perspective and accordingly apprise the decision-makers to structure the agreement which will be in compliance with the Indian Taxation laws. - Ensure timely filing of Return of Income. - Ensure timely preparation and filing of Form 3CEB, CBCR, Transfer pricing report. - Ensure timely and accurate response to all communications received from Income Tax department. - Work closely with Global Tax teams and provide them all information related to Indian Company for their tax filings.
