Specialist - Analytics - Strategic Advisory Firm

Job Location & Type: Gurgaon, Full Time

Education: BE/B.Tech/M.Sc from IIT or Delhi School of Economics only

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Understand client requirements, structure the business problem and design the analytical approach to best solve the business issue at hand

- Perform data-driven analysis using the latest and most advanced technologies in machine learning, statistical modeling and operation research models

- Analyze large structured and unstructured data to derive meaningful insights to drive business impact for the client

- Prepare and present final deliverables/results to client

- Contribute to firm growth by conducting training sessions, participating in recruitment activities and work with senior leaders on business development

Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven performer with minimum 2 years of advanced analytics experience including machine learning (predictive modeling techniques such as Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Text Analytics, Decision Tree, Segmentation, Time Series Forecasting, Random Forest, etc.)

- Experience and well versed in doing coding analysis in R / Python /SQL on large datasets

- Strong problem-solving skills, and quantitative/analytical thinking capabilities

- Excellent communication skills. able to grasp and communicate complex ideas clearly

- Willing to travel and work across client locations globally

- Prior consulting experience (preferred)
