Special Asset Manager - Stress Assets - Corporate Finance

Job Role: Special Asset Manager - Stressed Assets (Corp Finance)

Key Responsibilities - 

- Pan India responsibility for managing the Stressed Asset Portfolio of the Corporate Finance Division of HFCL involving largely Mid Market and SME Clients.

- Responsible for formulating and recommending appropriate resolution strategies/approach for respective cases amongst the Stressed Asset Portfolio in close coordination with Business, Collections and Credit Team.

- Responsible for underwriting the restructuring proposals including cash flow projections, Proposal writing and processing the same through the credit approval chain with necessary support from functional business and credit teams.

- To undertake the entire due diligence as part of restructuring exercise including Client engagement, attending Joint Lender/ Consortium Meetings and meetings with other necessary stakeholders.

Work Experience

Candidate should be a Mid to Senior level, high caliber restructuring professional from a Bank or an NBFC with 10-12 years of dedicated experience in handling stressed assets. Thorough Knowledge of existing RBI regulations on restructuring, different restructuring options/schemes, newer laws such as IBC and provisioning regulations related to NPA recognition/ Restructuring would be a prerequisite.

Primary Skill - 

- Handling and resolving Stressed Assets/Special Situation Assets.

- Credit Underwriting of Mid to Large Clients - Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Analysis

Soft Skills

- Tough Negotiation with Clients/Lenders/Legal Professionals, knowledge of Regulations and Laws related to restructuring of borrowings in Corporate Clients, Handling conflicting opinions across stakeholders
