Spartek group with 3 leading brands SPARTEK, NEYCER, SPARTEKONCRETE in diversified sectors of building / construction products, Sports is involved in promoting multiple start ups in Construction related products and areas like precast construction, concrete, PMCs, construction services, tableware etc with new technologies and all products are in different stages of scaling up to large size. The Sports group is a leading player in it's segment in India. The group has introduced a number of innovative products recently which are very successful.

The group is looking to scale up all businesses with senior management focus, develop strong younger teams for succession at various levels.

To help it achieve this target, the group needs professionals with outstanding career records to represent shareholder interests, help in building a professional management team and spearhead value creation.

Retired CEO/COO/CFOs/ CXOs/Heads of Finance/Marketing/Operations - Senior level or independent professionals - to be part of the Management Board wanted (full time/part time/Interim CXO) at Non Board level for a leading industrial group at Chennai to focus on key business segments.

Candidates should have senior level management experience in handling all areas of General management with P&L responsibility, Marketing, Brand enhancements, finance, Operations. Past experience in dealing with Investment banking, equity fund raising, legal & commercial, financial markets/services, Statutory bodies at senior management level will be an added advantage.

Should have been at or dealt with Board/CEO/CXO levels. Apart from outstanding professional skills, good social networking is desirable.

Qualification : Post Graduation

Experience : 15 to 20 years

The position will be based at Chennai.

For one of the businesses, Hyderabad is an option.

Compensation will be attractive and commensurate with the time and role played in building the group.

CEO/COO - Roles:

Is to be part of the strategies, policies and goals for the organization and to execute/implement them by leading/developing a good team & overseeing the day to day operations of the company to accomplish the financial goals & growth objectives of the company.

Responsibilities:

- P&L responsibility.

- Implementing good financial controls, systems and ensuring good financial management and the compliances.

- Planning, implementing, developing and directing the organizations operational and monetary function and performance towards the company's vision and mission.

- Acts as a strategic partner by developing and implementing the plans and programmes of a company.

- Takes initiatives with strategies for increasing new revenue streams available to the business.

- Creates, improves, implements and enforces the policies and procedures of the organization that will enhance the operational and financial effectiveness of the company.

- Effectively communicates with the organization and with the Board of Directors.

- Bring in improvements on a continuous basis in all departments and performance of the company.

- Evaluates the company's financial, sales and marketing structure to plan for continual improvements and increasing of the operative efficiency.

- To encourage the members of the company he on a daily basis interacts with them and mentor them.

- Ensures that the company wherever it does business it maintains a responsibility towards the social environment.

- The position will be based at Chennai. For one of the businesses, Hyderabad is an option.
