COO - Chief Operation Officer  SPARTEK had been a pioneer and brand leader in ceramic tiles and is known for it's product leadership and marketing since the mid 80's for almost 3 decades. The group went through restructuring for a few years and now completed turnaround and tied up several foreign strategic partnerships in current and related areas for projects worth over Rs 250 crores including offshore growth. The Group already invested substantially for the turnaround and new projects and plans to raise private equity in future. The current growth plans, through the brand strengths should take the turnover to over Rs. 500 crores within 3 years in first phase.  - To lead the post turnaround growth, the group is essentially looking for a total business manager with expertise in Sales/marketing, operations management and P&L management, to lead & build a young team for the company.   - Candidates should preferably be Engineer / MBA, currently be holding the positions at senior/ general management level with exposure and responsibility for P&L of medium sized companies and above.   - The position demands high leadership qualities, matured decision-making, ability to bring and develop a young professional team, expanding sales of group brands and also the European partner'"s brands to all potential markets in India in a competitive environment.   - The incumbent will be required to be strong in execution of business plan and will initially handle a combination of growing the post turnaround operating companies & bring the start up companies nearing production/revenue generation stage to full operations to enable private equity investment.  - Besides implementing the growth plans and improving performance substantially, emphasis will be on establishing a systems driven set up and a motivating work environment.
