Company: Spark Alternative Asset Management, Chennai Work Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in the areas of fund accounting and back-office operations with Mutual Fund house, AIFs, PE Firms. 5 years of experience in end-to-end AIF operations preferred Responsibility: Co-ordination with the following stake holders of the Fund to ensure smooth operations and functioning of the Fund(s) BO team including Fund accounting, Custodians, Tax advisors, Statutory Auditors: - Fee workings (Management, Performance, Other fee) - Income and Expenses statement - Vendor payments - Statutory audit handling - TDS, Advance tax, vendor TDS, financials Bankers and Fund management - Sort-term MF placement - Bank Reconciliation - Inward and outward remittance - InVI Reporting - Investment investible surplus workings Compliance Team including Regulatory audit, Inspection - Quarterly & Yearly communications to investors(SOA, Other) - SEBI compliance reports (Quarterly) - Trustee quarterly compliance reports (Quarterly) - Compliance test reports (Yearly) - PPM updation and audit, filing etc Fund Management team - Drawdown management - Investment schedules - Repayment schedules Person specifications: - Should have relevant experience of co-ordinating with multiple teams - Good Communication Skills, Strong in banking and fund accounting concepts - Should be able to take initiatives in automation & bringing efficiency to the system - Should be able to influence to implement processes and procedures for better reporting
