AVP - Insurance  - Streamlines the system of claims processing  - Forwards the claims to the insurer and follows up for timely settlements  - Identifies, with the Insurance coordinator, cases where there are long delays   - Coordinates over phone and email with divisional and zonal managers to clear the long pending cases  - Takes care of the TAT for claims processing, sending the claims to MNYL  - Gets MIS from the claims dept from the insurer.  - Weekly meeting with the team to take feedback regarding the issues related to the work.  - Discusses with insurers to find out new insurance products on offer  - Does desk evaluation of the product to assess viability   - Implements a pilot using the project plan created by the AVP, NBI  - Documents the processes and results and recommends the produc t for scale up  Claims processing :  - Processing of claims received from branches.  - Receiving intimations from branches regarding the deaths.  - Intimation of settlement to branches and settlement updation from branches.  - Escalating of long pending claims  - Daily report Insurance Coordinator Daily  - Weekly report Insurance Coordinator Weekly  - Claims Documents Insurance Coordinator Daily
