Build SPAG position in technology + start-up sector+ advocacy (both in terms of brand positioning, business development, knowledge expertise and team) . Experience: 15-18 years of experience in PR and Communications Key Deliverables:
- Prospecting for new business by using the client relationships and driving business opportunities on a pro-active basis
- Ownership of strategic, thinking and ideation at all levels, Organic and New Business Development and team discussions
- Responsible for planning and operational workplans within the Practice, lead and build the practice for India
- Develop a business plan for the practice for the next one year
- Drive revenue growth and maintain a profit margin keeping in view the target(including the organic and new business development).
- Build in roads with right set of clients and businesses for the organization
- Q-on-Q target to be achieved as per the mutually agreed business plan, which will encompass the elements of building in roads with the right set of clients and building revenues
- Drive integrated campaigns with SPAG by Interacting with multiple stakeholders to develop cross-selling opportunities, and upsell with the internal and digital team, DYE
- Focus on Client retention.
- Partnering with HR to create a strong second line of leadership
- Share KRA's for team and help in building a performance driven culture
- Partnering with HR to recruit bright/talented individuals who can adapt to the practice in the Communications industry Consulting and creating a good execution capability in the practice
- Coaching and guiding team to manage Clients, and develop plans and build the practice.
- Building a thought leadership position for the practice or by being a speaker at leadership forums on contemporary related topics
- Delivering expected profitability on the practice by placing a sharp focus on the utilization of the team
- Win Awards and recognition through campaigns
Key Skills /Qualifications Required :
- Bachelor's degree from recognized University
- Post-graduate degree or equivalent in journalism, communications or public relations is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable solutions to clients and Teams.
- Ability to effectively present information.
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
- Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
