About the role : We are looking for an experienced and accomplished Conceptual Interior Designer to take on a Head Design role. What you will do : - Enhance the brand equity of Space Matrix, creating impact through development of compelling value propositions, service offerings, and design processes. - Shape compelling narratives that convey the firm's distinctive vision, methodology, and relevance to prospective clients and critical stakeholders. - Identify, build, and maintain new business and advocacy relationships to expand the firm's reach. - Connect with decision-makers and those who influence decisions on development of significant, high-potential projects within the regional built environment. - Lead new client and project pursuits. - Foster a culture of design excellence as you provide vision and direction for innovative and responsive designs, inspiring leaders and team members to achieve outstanding results. - Set standards of excellence for delivery of professional services, creating value for our clients and our company. - Build and sustain momentum, keeping an eye on the big picture, while meeting our key objectives of client satisfaction, successful projects, sustainable growth, and international recognition. - As part of the design leadership team, ensure the organisation has an effective training programs &amp; mentor and motivate the design team to ensure performance and design excellence. What we expect: - You are an Interior Design or Interior-Architecture professional with leadership experience of managing a team or studio. - You have been in a client facing role and have experience of managing clients &amp; handling pitches and design presentations. - You are an excellent storyteller and can make impactful presentations to different type of clients. - You have excellent design management and presentation skills with relevant experience of working on Corporate Interiors/Workplace design projects. - You have a strong design sensibility and the technical ability to develop a project from concept to execution. - You are a team player with a positive attitude to go the extra mile. - You have multi-tasking ability, with time management and organisational skills. - You have a registered Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture. - You have knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop. - You will subscribe to the company core values- teamwork, integrity and excellence Who we are: - Space Matrix is a dynamic and innovative design consultancy that specializes in workplace design.
