Requirement :

Risk and Controls Specialist role is to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley s404 compliance through global Control Assurance and Risk Management processes. 


Main responsibilities of the role are:

- To support the Control & Audit compliance agenda

- To support the Management in delivering best-in-class control environment, increase control and compliance awareness and coordinate / ensure smooth delivery of internal control procedures

- For 3 Months may require extension of one month.

- Joining on or before 15th Jan 2019.

Profile specifications :

- 2 to 4 years of SOX/ Internal Audit experience.

- Graduate/ Post graduate with accounting background.

- Preferred not Mandatory: Professional degrees CA, MBA Finance or equivalent, certifications CIA, CPA

- Fluent in English, and written and oral communication.

Complexity :

This role is required to collaborate closely with stakeholders at various seniority levels across different regions and time zones.

Consultant/loan employee responsibility:

- Deliver the SOX control effectiveness testing allocated to the company in line with the company methodology explained by the company Line Manager

- Provide the Line Manager with continuous status update on the progress and findings

- Use appropriate communication channels to get the necessary information on time to have the agenda delivered in line with the expectations

- Provide support in setting up action items and action plans to have the defined deficiencies mitigated 


 Line Manager responsibilities :

- Allocate tasks, and timelines.

- Give clear guidelines on each task and the required outcomes

- Make timely decisions

- Provide necessary information, or instruct the consultant to obtain them

Outcomes expected :

- Allocated control effectiveness testing is performed on time and quality

- Document all related work papers in the format prescribed by the Manager.

- Support report preparation to the impacted stakeholders with value added insights based on the testing findings

- Track open questions & issues

Leading by example on delivering results, ensures operational standards are met within his/her immediate responsibility.
