Sourcing Specialist - Indirect Procurement - Chemicals

Job Title: Sourcing Specialist Indirect Procurement (EMEA)

We are seeking innovative and highly skilled Procurement professional to join our growing Procurement team, to support the Indirect Procurement operations & develop the current process.

This position is based in Navi Mumbai, India, with strong cross-functional collaboration linkages to other global sites in Europe and US. The positions require to perform process to deliver the best to our customers more efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess challenging the status quo and thinking out of the box mindset, towards developing innovative solutions & to support the end-to-end procurement of Machinery, Capex, Electrical, Equipment, Spares, Safety, MRO, Service contracts, Legal, etc. Carry out Purchasing /Invoice/ administrative related routines within areas of responsibilities in the department on an operational level.

Tasks and responsibilities:

- Responsible for Indirect Procurement for EMEA region

- Identify opportunities with new suppliers and alternate suppliers

- Conduct virtual meetings to identify Stakeholder requirements - train organization, Measure satisfaction, Increase contract compliance

- Purchase order creation (call off) and Order management

- Communication on several levels (externally and internally) which should be driven by presence of mind and professionalism

- Should be ready to work in European Shift (Noon shift)

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree preferred

- Good level of knowledge and understanding of the Source to Pay Process is desired

- End-user of SAP, with working on Ariba, Fairmarket tool is preferred

- Excellent organization, analytical and problem-solving skills

- Positive, can-do attitude and good business acumen

- 4 - 7 years of working experience

- Culturally sensitive, capable of handling interactions with a "global mind set"
