Sourcing/Procurement Consultant - Automotive/PCB & Electronics Systems - Global Consulting Firm

Our client a Global Consulting Firm is carrying out a project for a player in the precision components manufacturing domain. They are working towards scaling operations of a client's pilot manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

- Procurement/sourcing expertise for the following business operations:

a. Electronics assembly / sub-assembly

b. Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly

c. Semiconductor chip packaging

- Prior experience in selecting, onboarding and managing suppliers for active electronics components including managing the RFP process, supplier price negotiation, and managing the ordering & delivery of components

- Prior experience working with leading OSAT (outsourced semiconductor assembly & test) players such as Sahasra Semiconductors, Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE), Amkor, JCET, Silicon Precision Industries, Powertech Technology, Tongfu Microelectronics, King Yuan Electronics, Tianshui Huatian Technology

- Prior experience with PCB assembly business within leading EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) players in India such as Dixon, Jabil, Kaynes, Syrma, Salcomp, SRM, SFO, Avalon

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Crafting and executing strategies to achieve specific business objectives.

- Assuming responsibility for assigned tasks, using a project management framework to ensure efficient delivery.

- Presenting discoveries and recommendations to clients.

- Implementing suggested solutions and providing essential support to clients.

- Ensuring effective governance and controls through activities such as reporting, budget management, risk assessment, and issue management.

- Supervising the entire module while collaborating closely with the rest of the team.

- Demonstrating excellent communication skills and adeptly managing senior stakeholders.

This is a Contractual opportunity with an initial 3-6 months contract. This project is based out of Bangalore
