Our client is a well-known B2B commerce platform and they are looking to hire a Sourcing Lead to join their office in Delhi. The ideal candidate would be someone with in-depth knowledge of Apparel/Footwear production and insight into raw material procurement. Responsibilities: - Take charge of driving and overseeing the success and expansion of the factories within the designated category. - Be accountable for establishing targets, strategizing, and overseeing the implementation of factory onboarding procedures. - Oversee product procurement, pricing strategies considering relevant attributes, ensuring quality standards, and meeting demand requirements. - Monitor the lifecycle of each product within the category to facilitate manufacturers in proactive production planning. - The primary key performance indicator (KPI) will be ensuring a consistent flow of sampling from factories. - Lead the process of target establishment, strategic planning, implementation, and resource allocation for category sourcing. - Tasked with diversifying sourcing avenues across different clusters and sub-categories. - Responsible for expanding the team and instituting scalable processes to enhance the overall divisional growth. Requirements: - 8-10 years of experience in a similar space - In-depth knowledge of footwear/apparel production
