Overview:-

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Head to join our prestigious auction house. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing a wide range of high-value items including gold and diamond jewelry, antique pieces, luxury watches, memorabilia, paintings, and other unique and valuable antiquities.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Identify and engage with potential sellers of high-value items, establishing strong relationships.

- Evaluate and appraise items for authenticity, quality, and value.

- Negotiate purchase prices or consignment terms to secure the best deal for the auction house.

- Encourage sellers to participate in our auctions, highlighting the benefits and potential for high returns.

- Collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to promote upcoming auctions and featured items.

- Stay abreast of market trends and maintain an extensive network within the antiquities and luxury goods market.

- Ensure all sourced items comply with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:-

- Proven experience in sourcing and appraising high-value items, preferably in an auction house setting.

- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.

- Excellent networking abilities with a wide range of contacts in the industry.

- Knowledge of the legal aspects of sourcing and selling antiquities and luxury goods.

- Ability to authenticate and appraise items accurately.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
