Sourcing Consultant - Construction Business

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Good knowledge in Construction materials for market price analysis and price negotiation as per the Industrial quality standards, BOM preparation and in depth category expertise in few construction categories like:

1. LED Lights for Rooms, street lights, cables, switches, and other accessories

2. Plumbing, Bathroom fittings, and accessories

3. Fire Alarm and other Maintenance

4. Steel, Bars, Hardware, and accessories

5. Cement and other construction materials

6. Safety and protective items

- Finding new vendors/sub-contractors regional wise as per the company standards for the construction industry

- Develops standardized systems and controls for procurement including RFP documentation, and Vendor/sub-contractor eligibility criteria.

- RFI/RFP comparative preparation with a big list of BOM in Microsoft excel, as well creating architectural diagrams in Word / PPT

- Assist customers to facilitate the new vendors qualification / sub-contractors, arrange required any samples or product demo etc.

- Prepares and maintains contracts with national/regional service providers as per customer company standards.

- Build Auction on the E-bidding platform set-up & Execute online negotiation (any online e-bidding platform experience like Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa will be a value addition)

- Train suppliers to participate in online negotiation on the chosen online negotiation format

- Post-auction prepare the reports in excel and PPT

- Generate weekly project summary report/MIS (Excel and PPT)
