The Role :

The Implementation Manager, Scout is responsible for structuring and executing implementations of Scout, Soroco's proprietary automation discovery platform, as-well-as ensuring successfully go-forward plans post-implementation. The Implementation Manager reports to the Scout Portfolio Lead.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

Owning the implementation lifecycle of Scout, wherein each implementation will be bespoke, which includes:

Building strong relationships with :

- The business owner, and using this relationship to develop and maintain a goal for the implementation, an implementation design document that meets that goal, a plan to execute on the implementation design, and an escalation path in case the goal is compromised

- The relevant IT stakeholders to understand approvals and systems and IT professionals required to make Scout functional

- Working with a team of engineers and analysts against the project plan and ensuring on-time and on-budget completion of the project; be mindful of scope creep and team burnout throughout the implementation

- Work with the client on the support issues and work closely with the engineering team to resolve the issues proactively

- Effectively communicating updates and project expectations to all stakeholders, avoiding, resolving, or flagging escalations along the way

Structuring go-forward plans after each Scout implementation :

- Revisiting goals and ensuring a tight definition of success

- Structuring and scheduling training for all relevant end users of Scout, and ensuring they have access to a manual or knowledge base

- Structuring knowledge transfers on the Soroco side, and being specific about what will be accomplished in subsequent touchpoints

Providing feedback on the implementation model and approach, and looking for upsell :

- Detailing feedback after every engagement and making suggestions for how the client communication, IT support, or overall product could improve; this will inform backlog features

- Advising on other opportunities for Scout within a particular client

The Candidate :

- The ideal Implementation Manager Lead will be a passionate leader who possesses the confidence to provide the highest level of professional service.

Key Requirements and Qualifications :

- 6+ years of application/ product roll-out experience, including working with stakeholder directly to design and drive the implementation plan; experience in the automation systems a plus

- Outstanding software project management skills, with demonstrated success delivering on time and on the budget required; PMP certification desirables

- High degree of professionalism, maturity, and ability to think on one's toes

- Pro-active, can-do attitude in front of your customer and internal team

- Outstanding ability to communicate clearly and effectively with executive-level sponsors as well as technical practitioners

- BS/BA degree (or equivalent); qualifications in information systems, computer science or related field preferred

- CSM or PSM certification highly desired
