Sony Pictures Networks India is seeking an experienced Solution Architect - Backend Subscription. The incumbent will be responsible to lead the architecture to deliver high performance Payment & Subscription solution

Key Responsibilities:-

- Serves as technical design authority and recommends build decisions for OTT User Management, Subscription and Payment systems

- Discuss with Internal/External business owners and technical users on their requirement, validate feasibility and prepare solution and architecture to deliver various business use-cases

- Cross-Function discussion and propose solutions

- Drives Subscription architecture and the design of OTT User/Subscription/Payment API/SDKs Solutions at scale and security

- Design B2B, Payment Gateway, UPI, Telco, Promotional/Cashback/Coupon, Scan & Pay, SMS Gateways, Wallet Integration solutions

- Deliver solution for SVOD, TVOD and AVOD system integration

- Work extensively on high-scale, low-latency systems

- Documents architecture views and architecture artefacts required by the delivery process

- Ensures adherence with central enterprise architecture frameworks and standards

- Proactive communication and highlight risk in case of delivery solution and timelines

- Participation/Contribution in Agile Process and Delivery

- Owning and Accountability of solutions proposed and deliver

- Support delivery team in technical integration when required

Qualifications and Key Success Factors: -

- Minimum 12+ years of hands on experience on any backend technology like Java, Python, PHP, MySQL, MSSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB/NoSQL

- Experience on highly scalable Payment & Subscription solution and architecture design

- Expertise in relation database systems like MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL

- Understanding of server-side technology like NodeJS, MongoDB/NoSQL

- Good knowledge in Linux based operating systems

- Experience in various payment gateway and API integration (PayU, CCAvenue, Paypal, Rozarpay etc)

- Good knowledge in in-app purchase, amazon billing and bundling integration

- Experience in handing SMS gateway integration (Pinpoint, Value First, Tanla etc)

- Understanding of OTT SVOD, TVOD and AVOD entitlement and process

- Experience in B2C and B2B payment Architecture design and Integration

- Strong understanding of latest payment methods of UPI, Telco, Wallet, QR Code, scan & pay etc.

- Good Understanding of VAS, Cashback, Coupons

- Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skill

- Knowledge in version controlling (GIT/SVN), technical governance, best coding practices, code quality and standards, application development life cycle, automation, deployment practices
