Sony Pictures Networks - Server Management Administrator - Enterprise Technology Group

Role Overview

Reporting to Head -Infrastructure & Analytics, Enterprise Technology Group, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall management of IT Infra Management and cloud computing infrastructure.

Key Accountability & Responsibilities:

- Manage operations of the data center, server and switch activity, server power utilization, server capacity planning, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise network and work towards ensuring zero downtime

- Managing the Microsoft Applications Platform - O365 / Teams

- Setting up and managing AWS infrastructure setup and management for SaaS application

- Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, Cloud Watch, Guard Duty, Cloud Formation)

- Strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments

- Leading highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments

- Large scale migration experience Data Centre to Cloud

- Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell)

- Configuration management using Cloud Formation, Chef & Puppet

- Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment

- Experience managing data centre operations, including data assurance, monitoring, alerting and notifications

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

- Ensure timely renewals of hardware maintenance contracts and hardware warranty with third party vendors

- Help in resolution of any IT Infrastructure issues by analyzing the issue and taking corrective actions

Qualifications/ Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineer, Math or related field or equivalent experience

- 10+ years of experience on IT infra management in Data Center and Cloud.

- 3+ years of Cloud computing experience using publicly available services

Skills & Abilities:

- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

- Effective presentation and should be able to translate and articulate IT risks in business terms

- Excellent documentation skills
