Role Overview :

Reporting to the Head - Monetization Strategy and Consumer Insights, the incumbent would be responsible for building big data and analytics capability which would help derive long term and relevant consumer insights resulting in determining and formulating future strategy for the business, or parts thereof. The role is expected to be significantly future focused and forward thinking by design.

POSITION SPECIFICATION :

- Education : Post Graduation mandatory

- Overall experience : 15 years +

- Essential experience : Experience in Consulting and Big Data implementation projects in large organisations

- Desirable experience : Experience in Digital and/ or Consumer facing roles

- Other job requirements : Understanding of Consumer Insights

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY :

1. Big Data

- Build the Big Data Strategy for the organization

- Build Organisational capability

- Execution of the project

2. Strategic Research

- Work with top management to identify projects of strategic priority, in building a strong future focused, consumer centric organization,

- Lead the initiatives on Spotting consumer trends and converting them into strategic actionable. Provide customized support. Incubate research and insights capability for the newly formed businesses.

- Commission and lead research studies of corporate priority

- Engage with businesses and drive best practices across businesses relating to research, brand health measures etc.

- Leverage and evaluate technology and capability building requirements for the future

- Delivery against committed timelines/ intent

- How the research is used

3. Analytics

- Building capabilities for an Analytics driven Organization (Strategic and Operational)

- Usage of projects implemented

- Capability building measures deployed

4. Stakeholder Management

- Managing cross-functional linkages

- Dealing with partners

Key Metrics :

- Seamlessly lead/ manage multiple projects and stakeholders

5. Social Listening

- Centrally drive the organization's response management framework and Operations, including Social listening

- Provide trends and insights based on findings

- Customer Life Cycle Management

- Qualitative and Quantitative SLAs for Response management and Social Listening

6. Team Management

- Track team performance at an overall and individual level and provide support/ guidance wherever required to ensure achievement of yearly plans

- Manage effective resource allocation, enhance the capability quotient of team members and drive higher team engagement through appropriate HR interventions
