Educational qualification
- Masters in Statistics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline from a reputed institute
- Professional certification such as CAMS (AML) preferred Qualification
Job Description:
We are looking for a subject matter expert in Anti Money Laundering and financial crime. The role would require participate in product development, managing end-to-end project delivery, support pre-sales team and allied activities
Functional skills:
- Strong knowledge of AML or fraud analytics with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience in financial crime analytics; additional exposure to customer segmentation, threshold analysis.
- Rich experience in threshold tuning & optimization is a must. Well versed with threshold tuning methodologies & implementation. Exposure to ATL/BTL
- Exposure to any of industry standard vendor tools such as Mantas, Actimize-SAM, EFT, Trade Surveillance, SAS AML, Norkom
- Very strong experience in SQL, R and python programming.
- Hands-on experience in data mining/analytics and familiarity with the regulatory environment
- Assess current and future state of surveillance, platform, policies, and procedures to promote continuous improvement.
- Create Tuning Playbooks and Scenario decommission documents as part of scenario tuning and optimization exercise.
- Create processes and governance to promote alignment with industry best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with Oracle, SQL and other databases.
- Significant experience and direct knowledge of AML Transaction Monitoring systems and preferably Oracle Mantas, Actimize, FISERV, Prune BSA and Actimize.
Other Skills:
- Exposure to Big Data Technologies is desirable
- Excellent understanding of the Finance industry and business lines; exposure to healthcare will be a plus
- Analytical/numerical expertise demonstrated by cutting edge quantitative/ statistical research and analytical projects
- Should have strong exposure to database, technology, data mining and business intelligence resources in the finance industry
- The candidate should have attention to detail, and excellent analytical, problem solving, time management skills
- Willingness and commitment to walk extra mile to achieve client delight and ensure high quality output delivery within stringent timelines
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Good at creating and delivering impactful presentations
- Ability to work with colleagues/clients located globally, and client. Strong stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
