CTO (Product Based IT Organization) Responsibilities : - Build an engineering roadmap and technology strategy for the entire engineering team - Promote a culture that drives autonomy, responsibility and perfection Collaborate with product delivery team to ensure timely and quality delivery of the product features. - Recruiting, coaching, and developing engineers; you'll be playing a critical role in ensuring your team is regularly receiving feedback and making rapid progress on personal and professional goals. - Facilitating planning-the prioritization, sequencing, and staffing of work-for your team. Responsible for maintaining a high quality bar for everything your team ships. - Build and lead multiple engineering teams that ship frequently, balance speed to market with operational and process excellence. Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements and new initiatives. Playing a key role in continuously improving our technical practices, recruiting and onboarding strategy, planning and prioritization process, and more. - Communicate effectively at different levels including senior leadership, peers, reporting team and other stakeholders to update the weekly progress Qualifications : - 12+ years of experience in engineering products. Candidate should be hands on with technology. - Candidate has at least 6+ years of experience in leading & managing engineering teams As an individual contributor. - Candidate has built something substantial and complex such that the engineers look up to her, and are able to drive technically complex projects. - Candidate has a proven track record with the team that they led, that conveys an ability to ship successful products that people love. - Candidate possesses strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities and demonstrates proven technical leadership in the face of ambiguity. - Candidate has a strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration. - Candidate must be Effective in a dynamic environment, juggling and prioritizing between multiple projects. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes. Candidate should have built and scaled the team. Knows how to grow and hire new leaders. - A good network on twitter or linkedIn is a huge plus.
