SAP - Pre Sales - Solutions Consultant - Pune
Skills & Competencies :
- The Presales Senior Specialist is expected to have a BS degree in Business or Computer Science and 5 or more years of overall technical experience.
- In addition, they should have 5 or more years of field Presales experience or the equivalent combination of consulting, technical, programming and sales skills.
The successful candidate will have :
- Ten years or more of related work experience as a Solution Advisor or Presales
- Proven ability to use Presentations, Demonstrations and Proof of Concepts to close business
- Excellent knowledge of BI or Internet of Things or Big Data.
- Java, VB, C, C programming background a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organizational skills
- The ability to talk with different audiences, appropriately adjust technical content to meet different audience knowledge and interest, and can juggle meetings with multiple audience levels and is able to handle customer objections by determining the real business problem.
- Ability to travel
Expectations & Tasks :
Primary activities will include :
- Providing technical consulting in pre-sales support of commercial OEM software accounts.
- Being one of the key members in India OEM sales team to generate revenue through enhanced sales team productivity.
- Managing the technical pre-sales cycles, account qualification, presentations, demonstrations, support for partner evaluations, application design, development of integrated customer demos and Proof of Concept implementation
- Working as part of an integrated team with sales to identify strategic target accounts
- Providing sales enablement to partners in preparation for their go to market strategies
- Prepares detailed product specifications and customer needs assessments and develops potential solutions.
Education & Qualification / Skills & Competencies :
- Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirement
- Master equivalent: optional
- MBA / Ph.D.: optional
