Solutions Architect - IT

One of the US based Sports companies (offices in Germany, Brazil, China and India) is setting up an office in Bengaluru . For their IT Division (expected to grow rapidly in numbers), they are looking for Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the architectural design and development of complex web and mobile applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, system architecture, and design patterns for new projects and initiatives.

- Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance to development teams to ensure adherence to best practices and architectural principles.

- Define and implement coding standards, frameworks, and tools to improve development efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.

- Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and third-party services to support the development of our digital solutions.

- Identify technical risks and challenges early in the development process and propose mitigation strategies.

- Lead the implementation of scalable and reliable backend systems, APIs, and microservices architectures to support our web and mobile applications.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in web and mobile application development, and advocate for their integration into our technical roadmap.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of success in a technical leadership or architecture role.

- Extensive expertise in web and mobile application development technologies, including frontend (Flutter, Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, etc.) and backend (Node.js, Java, etc.).

- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable and distributed systems architectures for web and mobile applications.

- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus.
