Designation: Solution Consultant Products and Solutions Pre Sales

HQ: Mumbai

Reports to: Vice President Sales, India Cluster

Desired Experienced: 8 - 15 years

- Min. Of 6 years experience in a pre and post sales support role

- At least 5 years people management experience and 3 years in related field / Industry

Desired Industry: IT Hardware / Office Automation

Desired Academic: Bachelor degree in computer science or electronic engineer or a related discipline

Desired Technical competencies:

- Knowledge of ECM Solution

- Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS

- Knowledge of Input / Output data concept

- Understanding of ERP environment

- Knowledge of Java / scripting

Job Purpose: 

The Primary function of the role is to work with direct sales force (channel and Key account managers), customers (distributors, resellers and end-users) to understand their product support requirements and objectives, help set realistic expectations with them, document and communicate these expectations within company's leadership regional team, develop solutions, support and training that best address their needs.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Work closely with the sales force, distributors, resellers and end-user positioning how our solutions (equipments, software and service) can meet customers- needs.

- Develop an effective team of Pre-Sales Executives in the different geographies to support the resellers and distributor base.

- Drive the Pre-sales team in the execution of technical support information, product training, sales tools, product demonstration, and product competition analysis supporting both for internal and external customers.

- Provide technical support to our System Integrators, Independent Software Vendors and other Partners to integrate our Hardware and Software in to their solutions.

- Set the proper expectations and provide technical guidance to the Sales team as well as partners/customers throughout the sales cycle about our solutions. Communicate the advantages of our products to potential clients in the market place.

- Responsible for the escalation to APR Director Product and Solutions for modification or new features to meet the customer needs to close deals and recommend future needs for the Indian market.

- Participate in government bid opportunities, working closely with the Sales Managers, Channel Managers to analyze the bid specifications to support and suggest the best product strategy to win the bid.

- Provide commercial and technical product/software training for internal sales team, distributors and key resellers.

- Will be the responsible for escalating product quality issues from customers and resellers with local service and following through to resolution.

- Working with the field marketing organization on marketing programs and campaigns for Business Development.
