Solution Architect/Principal Architect - Mobile Web Application

The Solution Architect/Principal Architect for Mobile web application and Online Self Services, is responsible for driving implementation of an enterprise mobile web application and enterprise online self-services domain/technology architecture strategy that integrates new and emerging technologies into the business.

Responsibilities:

- Key contributor in the development of mobile web application / online self-services portal domain

- Key contributor in the development of architectural principles to support business and IT needs.

- Participates in the assessment of business viability of new technologies and provide recommendations.

- Effectively manages architectural projects to evaluate, design and implement technology

- Provide IT technology expertise and consultation for specialized architectural needs.

Qualifications:

- B.E./M.S degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred

- Has demonstrated experience in use of Agile methodology

- Strong presentation and communication skills

- Overall 12+ years of experience in online application development

- Have Experience in driving innovative solutions and business opportunities

- Ability to think and act strategically and proactively

- Experience in speaking at large engagement or oral proposal evaluations

- Must have experience leading development of written solution proposals

- Ability to discuss and innovate in a wide range of disciplines including M2M, mobility, network, infrastructure management, web application architecture, software development and cloud integration

- Proven leadership, communication and collaborative skills

- Having Patents is an added advantage

- Passion for innovation

Preferred Skills/experience:

- Strong experience on skills like J2EE, Spring,Hibernate, Webservices (REST/SOAP), HTML5, CSS3

XML, JSON, Ajax, JQuery Mobile, Sencha Touch, Ext JS/backbone.js, javascript, Websphere, SOA - Experience on skills like Phonegap, Perfecto Mobile, Android, iOS experience preferred

- Highly skilled in Responsive Web Design architecture and solutions

- Serves as a SME within the specific architecture or technology domain(s) discussed in the job description

- Experience must be specifically related to online and mobile technical/solution architecture experience

- Mobile Web Application Platform and Enterprise online self-services portal

- Experience in a leadership role required.

Prior experience in IT strategy planning, governance and alignment of architecture frameworks and roadmaps to strategic business goals preferred.

- Innovation Evangelist will lead solutions strategy and development initiatives to drive new business growth in areas of opportunities
