Position - Solution Architect

Job Description:

Looking for someone who could apply advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently, contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors. Lead and/or provides expertise to functional initiatives.

Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently, represents the organization to external customer/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practice to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

Responsibilities :

- Engages IT and business management: face to face interaction.

- Understands which offerings best address customer needs and business requirements.

- Ongoing qualification of solution merits.

- Identifies services opportunities for HP in customer's enterprise information technology.

- Ensures solution addresses win themes.

Education and Experience required :

- Technical university or Bachelor preferred or equivalent experience.

- 8-12 years of experience in solution selling and/or consultative selling.

- 5-7 years of experience in project/program management.

- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

- Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
